General Terms and Conditions of Events

1. Registration

Please send your application in writing to the DWA. With many of our events the number of participants is limited and the order of the receipt of post will be considered. The participant receives the invoice for the participation fee. Participation is only possible if receipt of pay-ment is confirmed by DWA.

2. Participation fee

Please do not pay the participation fee until you have received our invoice. Participation is only possible if receipt of payment is confirmed by the DWA. An event lasting several days cannot be divided among several participants. Partial participation does not lead to a price reduction.

3. Copyright

The copyright of the event documentation is held by the DWA or the lecturer. The documents may not be modified, copied, distributed, translated or publicly reproduced via electronic sys-tems without express prior written permission by the owner of rights.

4. Data protection

The DWA uses a data processing system as part of its business activities. Your personal data is stored and automatically processed by the DWA. So far as you do not give prior approval, we use your personal data for the execution of the event and for the forwarding of product offers from our house. You can object to the use of your data for the purpose of advertising or market and opinion research at any time.

5. Liability

DWA shall not be liable for accidents in the training rooms or for the loss or theft of items in the training rooms.

6. Changes to the event

In exceptional cases the events can be changed in comparison with the advertisement. This can lead to an adaptation of the content, a change of lecturer, location or price. This does not constitute a right of withdrawal or revocation.

7. Deregistration

If you cancel or deregister your participation in writing up to14 days before the event, the par-ticipation fee (less 10% administration costs) will be refunded. In the event of cancelation at shorter notice, the participation fee will be charged in full. It will also be charged in full if the participant does not attend the event without cancelling.

8. Cancelation of the event

In the case of force majeure or insufficient participation, the DWA may cancel the event. Any fees already paid will be refunded. No further claims can be made against the organizer.

This document contains the essential contractual bases for DWA events in an easy-to-understand English language.
