Mission „Zero Waste“
“Zero Waste” was the key word for IFAT Eurasia 2019. The trade fair focused on the question of how Turkey can achieve higher recycling rates, among other things. Recent studies show that most of the country’s waste is still disposed of in landfill. In 2017, the Ministry of Environment launched the “Zero Waste” project, an initiative that aims to establish a nationwide recycling system by 2023. The project requires vehicles and systems for collecting, sorting, reducing and preparing waste.
