EXPOTRAIN is a modular training package from the DWA. It provides engineers, planners and decision-makers worldwide with practice orientated knowledge on the planning of wastewater treatment processes.

Different design rules and standards are used worldwide for the dimensioning of wastewater treatment plants (e.g. those of the DWA, EPA or Metcalf and Eddy). Good dimensioning standards contribute to effective treatment results, cost optimisation and safe operation in the long term of the investment.
